June Weather in Rwanda
- Rainfall: June is dry. The long rains (March-May) have ended. Expect clear skies, sunny days, and cool nights at altitude.
- Temperature in Kigali: 17-24 degrees Celsius. Pleasant and comfortable.
- At Volcanoes NP (2,000m+): Cooler -- 12-18 degrees during trekking hours. Bring a fleece layer for the early morning departure.
- At Akagera (lower altitude): Warmer -- 22-30 degrees during game drives. Good wildlife viewing as animals concentrate around water sources.
- Road conditions: Excellent. Dry season means no muddy tracks. All vehicles including sedans can access the main tourist routes.
